Made in Japan this device has the ability to play Digital Audio Cassettes, a rare option on VCRs. Digital Audio Cassettes were an attempt at revolutionizing the music industry that never really took off. They were more reliable and had a better sound quality than standard audio cassettes, but due to the size they never gained much popularity. The Edit Monitor feature allows you to see your input source side by side with your current recording.
