The face plate has a shiny silver finish and the casing is very solid wood, completing a very attractive design that is ideal for the vintage look you are going for. Not only is the Sherwood 7300 good looking, but it is also built like a tank. It is very heavy and is built with metal components, real wood and only the best components. It does 42 watts per channel into 8 ohm speakers. The rear panel is furnished with 2 Phono jack sets for connecting 2 record players. There is also a Mic input for connecting a microphone and an AUX for connecting anything else, such as a CD player. For standard audio outputs, you have TP Monitor for recording to tape and REC out for recording to anything else, such as a CD. The speaker connecters include 4 sets for connecting 2 sets of speakers, all of which can be powered simultaneously for playing audio through all for speakers. The Sherwood S-7300 was made in Japan in the year 1972. Not only is Japan the best manufacturer of electronics in the world, but it was made during a great time period. As we all know, everything was built-in better years ago than what is available these days. Get it before its gone!
